Life Insurance Corporation of India conducts these competitive exams. This competitive exam is for the recruitment of the personals for the posts of Assistant Administrative Officers. This exam is conducted once in a year in the month of June.

There are various competitive exams under the category of LIC competitive exams. They are:

• L.I.C Development Officers Exam

L.I.C Officers Exam:

The information about these exams is published in the leading newspapers and employment news. This information along with a blank application form is published during the second week of April in these newspapers. The last day for filling the form is second week of May.

The basic educational qualification required for appearing for this exam is Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with minimum of 50% marks. It is relaxed for SC/ ST candidates to 40% marks in either Bachelors or Masters Degree. These degrees should be from a recognized Indian or Foreign University.

L.I.C Development Officers Exam:

G.I.C Officers Exam:

GIC Officers Exam is a combined competitive exam. These exams are conducted for the recruitment of Assistant Administrative Officers (Generalist). This exam is held in February every year. The qualification required for appearing for these exams are Graduation or Post Graduation in Arts, Science, Agriculture, engineering or Law from a recognized University.

G.I.C Assistants Exam:

G.I.C Assistants Exam is held in August every year. The qualification required for this exam is passing in Higher Secondary and graduation from a recognized University with 60% marks. This examination consists of a written test and interview for those candidates who qualify in the written examination.
